Stay in one of the oldest and most storied homes in Duck. Long before Duck became a beloved Outer Banks beach destination, this area was a quiet duck-hunting village—and this home served as a retreat for hunters before the town grew into what it is today. Full of character and coastal charm, the house has been thoughtfully updated with modern comforts such as new HVAC and windows to ensure a cool, relaxing stay.

Main Level
The main level features a welcoming great room with plenty of comfortable seating, a dining area, and a well-equipped kitchen—perfect for gathering after a day at the beach or exploring the town.

This floor includes two bedrooms:

Bedroom 1: King bed
Bedroom 2: Two twin beds
A shared full bathroom is also located on this level.

Upper Level
At the top of the stairs is the bunk room, which also provides access to the shared upstairs bathroom. From here, guests walk through to the spacious queen bedroom, which includes access to the upper deck—an ideal spot to enjoy morning coffee or evening breezes.

This unique historic home offers the perfect blend of old-Outer-Banks charm and modern comfort, all in a fantastic location close to Duck’s shops, restaurants, and beautiful beaches.

Rates & Availability

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 14 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
